Hotel a Sapporo

"New hotel - hardware is good. Rooms are comfortable. Gym is small though... Software still has a lot to improve. Staff are not helpful nor flexible to accommodate client requests. Facing the main street, room was noisy before midnight. No dedicated drop off point for hotel guests. Need to carry the luggages to cross the road before taking the lift up to the check-in lobby on 7/f. Imagine how chaotic it would be if you have 3 big and 3 small hard luggages as well as 3 children to manage. No hotel staff is there to help. Location is convenient but in the middle of the red light district and on top of a shopping mall and cinema. U may need to cramp into a lift with restaurant diners and cinema goers when you go back to hotel after a long day walk. Felt that many triad society members walked by me when I walked on the street. Though nothing happened, felt a little unsafe. The vibe of the premium lounge is exceptionally calming and relaxing. Chilling out here after a bloodshed shopping day helped you wind down completely. The view from the outdoor area of the premium lounge is far reaching and can see both the Ferris wheel and the Sapporo TV tower. Will not recommend this hotel unless proximity to red light district is important. This hotel is particularly suitable for red light district customers who want a place to do whatever they need to do quickly. Quite fascinating to seeing a young lady leaving hotel with a Japanese speaking old men. Somehow I felt that a business transaction is going on. The multi stories shopping mall, restaurants and cinema provide a perfect camouflage for this type of business. Well may be I got it wrong and they are just grandpa and grand daughter...."

"The hotel is 5 mins walk from Susukino underground station and around 20-30 mins walk from Sapporo station. Breakfast was extensive and definitely the highlight for the stay with options like hotate and tuna sashimi as well as hokkaido crab legs! The room was small which was typical for Japanese hotels but clean and functional. There was also a public bath but was usually crowded. If you are staying at this hotel, definitely go for the breakfast!"

"I wanted to stay somewhere near the Sapporo Station because I planned to join the day-tour to Biei and I also needed to take the train to Otaru, so the location of the hotel was pretty good although there were a few more hotels that were a bit closer to the Sapporo Station. Still, every staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was big enough to keep 2 suitcases open, which I personally liked the most. Also, this hotel is known for its delicious breakfast and it was even better that a buffet style and a Japanese style are served, which I enjoyed a lot as I stayed for 4 nights. Lastly, although it takes about an hour and a half to get to the airport, you have an option to take the bus to the airport from the hotel. Unless you are planning to stay somewhere near Susukino, this hotel can be the one great choice."

"Conveniently located about 50m away from Susukino station exit 4, and easily can walk to Odori Park and Sapporo station via a long and wide“Sapporo Ekimae-dori underground walkway” and skip taking the train. Takes about 20min from Susukino to Sapporo station. I love that walkway, it was sheltered, not stuffy, along the way there are many restrooms, exits to stations/ malls/ bus stops, food, seats etc along the way. And didn’t even rub shoulders cos it is a huge place and not overly cluttered like Tokyo and Osaka. Airport limo bus is about 200m away, no reservation is needed."

"Great hotel, clean and comfortable room, convenient location! One thing that surprised me, though, was a total lack of laundry machines... it's the only hotel in Japan from 20+ that I've stayed in that doesn't have coin laundry on site... this made it not very convenient... other than that, it was great!"

"A Perfect Stay with a View – I Wish I Could Stay Longer! I stayed at Cross Hotel Sapporo and absolutely loved it. The view of the Sapporo TV Tower at night was amazing, especially while relaxing in the massage chair in the room — such a nice touch! The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The breakfast was also a highlight — everything was fresh and delicious. One night definitely wasn’t enough. Next time, I’ll be sure to stay longer. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sapporo!"

"La stanza non è così grande, ma c'è abbastanza spazio, si può anche facilmente tenere la valigia aperta. Il personale è molto responsivo. La posizione è solo grande - tutto quello che ti serve e ancora più è vicino. Se necessario, puoi lavarti i vestiti qui, che è molto conveniente. Il letto è molto comodo, il suono è buono, o io non ho avuto vicini :)"

"L'hotel è convenientemente situato vicino alle metro. È collegato al sottosuolo dal edificio vicino alla porta. Attrezzature di base, tra cui lavatrice di faccia, Lozione, umidificatore per faccia fornita anche. Camera gemella è abbastanza spaziosa. Il personale è cortese e gentile. Il bagno pubblico può essere affollato di notte."

"booked the triple deluxe room for 3 pax. love the room as its spacious, comes with a separate “living” room. The bath and toilet area are separated as well. 2 smart TVs in the room with netflix/prime/etc. location near to JR Sapporo and the Sapporo subway; a few mins walk only. Love the bath soap and shampoo, unique to this hotel and they even have them for sale at the Lobby."
